Tim Forster has been in continuous practice since being called to the Criminal Bar and a member of Chambers since 1991. He is a registered Pupil Supervisor.
His broad-based criminal practice covers all forms of serious crime. Prosecution specialities include undercover operations and cases involving children and other vulnerable witnesses. Defence specialities include large-scale drug importation, serious fraud and sexual offences.
Cases he has conducted have made the front pages of the Evening Standard ("Bungle frees acid attacker"), The Daily Sport ("Saved by his curly wurly"), as well as the inside pages of lesser papers (e.g. "Woman paid man £20,000 not to rape her", "Dyslexic postman dumped mail").
Tim is also a music writer and regular contributor to magazines such as MOJO, Uncut & Record Collector. As a founder member of late Brit Pop chart group Gay Dad he is well-placed for any cases involving a musical element. Notable clients have included the (then) managing director of Island Records and members of The Human League & Heaven 17.
He is married with 2 sons and lives in North West London.
