Fer is a criminal practitioner who also appears in the Coroners Court.
Experience:
Fers work as a led junior has included cases of: murder; fraud; sexual violence and public
order.
Fer has thirteen years experience appearing as an advocate. She is in court on a daily basis and has had conduct of cases ranging in seriousness. As a junior alone she has extensive experience in dealing with cases of violence (including sexual violence), drugs cases, public order offences and cases which now fall under the Fraud Act. She is regularly instructed in cases involving vulnerable witnesses (prosecuting and defending).
Recent and Current Cases:
Fer is currently instructed in the prosecution of a large credit card cloning case involving groups of Romanian nationals and is also counsel instructed in the case of R v Kuttubuddin a case involving an under cover sting operation, led by the News of The World, to expose corrupt solicitors. She recently, successfully defended in a highly emotive driving case wher a young women working for Chelsea FC was tragically killed.
Her recent Court of Appeal cases include R v Pearce.
Chambers committee memberships:
Fer is one of the in - house advocacy trainers having completed the middle temple "training the trainers" course in 2001. She is also on the pupillage committee.
