Amanda Hamilton has specialised in criminal law for 16 years. She appears regularly alone and as leading junior in single-handed and joint enterprise cases of large scale fraud and deception.
In September 2011, Amanda secured the acquittal of a defendant who faced multiple charges of appropriation of RAF property.
Violent Crime and Murder
Amanda has extensive experience in the areas of serious violent crimes and murder. In 2009, led by John Coffey QC, Amanda represented an appellant who had served 5 years for the murder of his girlfriend and successfully appealed his conviction after the scientific expert evidence was challenged.
