R. v. Enahoro 2009
Led by Robert Rhodes Q.C. to represent the first defendant in a three-handed conspiracy to do acts which facilitated the commission of a breach of immigration law. A law firm in south London provided forged documents for clients seeking indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
R. v. Goorani 2009
Stranger rape of a student who had been followed back to the halls of residence after a night out in Brighton.
R. v. Fluke 2009
Date rape. A false allegation made by a complainant who had made an identical claim 12 months earlier. The prosecution resisted a bad character application on the grounds that the interval between the two was significant.
R. v. Abuculesei 2008
Murder. Three brothers from Romania bungled the robbery of a man who had been lured from a bar by the youngest defendant.
R. v. White 2008
Murder re-trial. Originally convicted in 2001 of murdering his girlfriend. Fresh geological evidence exposed the trial expert's findings as speculative and wholly unreliable.
