Courts Martial
We both prosecute and defend in court martials, whether held in or outside the United Kingdom and are prepared to undertake extensive travel to conduct such hearings.
We have appeared in a number of well known and significant cases involving accusations against members of the armed forces of a range of different ranks, including the first prosecution for alleged war crimes following the invasion of Iraq (R v Payne and others). We also regularly defend members of the armed forces in civilian criminal proceedings.
